my yahoo, rss and libros

I added a button onto the blog that makes it easy to add libros blog updates to your my yahoo homepage. I like this because I use my yahoo for my homepage/email and stuff, and then I can glance at all my friend's blogs at once instead of going to each site. Try it, just click the "add to my yahoo" button and it walks you through the two steps.

Progress

Lots of you have been following us in our old blog , and so you know where we're at. We're back from Honduras, and excited about starting a library there in the River Valley.
The guy who is going to build the physical building is coming in October, so in addition to collecting books we're trying to raise some money for a building fund. A decent building with cement walls and a good roof will be necessary to keep everything safe and dry, expecially during the rainy season.
The library will be in the same building as a new clinic. The waiting room is going to double as a library room, so people and kids who are waiting for the nurse can use the books too. I think it'll be great.
Peter is going to help run the Honduras side of the library. The reading program that he has been doing is quite popular, so we hope that he can transition into a "librarian" role pretty easily.
Give us suggestions and ideas on the library, the website, whatever.

The first update, so maybe it's the introduction

Rachel and I drove to Statesboro last weekend to drop off a load of books. A very cool lady there has retired from her job as a university professor, and is driving a school bus to Miami to be shipped to Honduras. She agreed to take our books and bookshelves. We sent about 75 Spanish books with her, from the Arch books to Ramona the Pest.
We're still shaken up by the situation in Las Mangas, and praying for the folks there. A man shot an AK-47 into a crowd in revenge for a previous murder in town. He killed one child and wounded others. As far as we know they haven't found out who the guy is or who hired him. Pray for peace and trust.
I'm hoping to have a list of the books we have linked to this site by next week.
